With a heart full of love and gratitude, we bid farewell to Jimmy Wilhite, who was born on July 6, 1947, in Paragould, AR, and passed away on August 20, 2024. He was a man of extraordinary strength and resilience, who loved his country and his family.

Jimmy was a proud veteran who served in the United States Navy for 25 years. Jimmy was stationed at NAS Chase Field. His courage and commitment took him to the battlefields of the Vietnam War, a chapter of his life that shaped him into the fearless and inspiring figure he was. He was a beacon of strength for his family, a loving father, an affectionate brother, a caring uncle, a doting grandfather, and a great grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Wilhite; his parents, Garnet and Imogene Wilhite; his brother, Larry Wilhite; his son, Jimmy Dale Wilhite Jr.; and his nephew, Tracy Wilhite.

Jimmy is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Daniel) Alcorta and Hope (Paul) McNulty; his brother, Lonnie (Janet) Wilhite; his nephews, Scottie (Crystal) and Christopher (Jennifer) Wilhite; his nieces, Charity Rollings and Terri (Greg) Johnson; his grandsons, John Alcorta, Joshua Sypolt, and Alex Martinez; and his great-grandchildren, Brandon Alcorta and Krystine Alcorta.

The legacy of Jimmy’s strength, love, and sacrifice will forever be remembered by those who knew him. We invite everyone to leave their cherished memories and upload photos of our beloved Jimmy to the memorial page, a digital space where we can all gather to honor and remember him. His story will continue to inspire us, and his memory will remain in our hearts forever.
